Certificates and authenticity
At HD Jewels, we attach paramount importance to the quality and traceability of our gems . The certificates of authenticity that we provide come from recognized gemological laboratories in the country of origin or, where applicable, from a French laboratory.
Faced with new treatments available on the precious stone market, in-depth scientific analyzes are necessary to validate our field observations, limited by the equipment on board during our prospecting. Thus, the quality of the stones offered on our site is guaranteed in complete safety and transparency.
We work in particular with the following independent laboratories:
French Gemmology Laboratory (LFG – Paris) : The LFG is a center of expertise recognized worldwide for its rigorous analysis of gems, located in Paris.
Bellerophon Gemlab (Paris, Place Vendôme) : Located in the heart of Parisian fine jewelry, Bellerophon Gemlab is renowned for its precision gemmology services.
Precious Gem Testing Laboratories (PGTL – Sri Lanka) : PGTL is a leading laboratory in Sri Lanka, specializing in the testing of local and international gemstones.
Ceylon Gem Laboratory (CGL - Sri Lanka) : CGL is another Sri Lankan laboratory renowned for its strict standards in gem certification.
Emteem Gem Laboratory (EGL – Sri Lanka) : EGL is recognized for its expertise in gem analysis and certification, offering detailed and reliable reports.
CDTECH (Bogotá, Colombia) : CDTECH is a Colombian laboratory specializing in the evaluation of emeralds and other gems, renowned for its scientific rigor.
If one of our stones is offered without a certificate, you can request one from our partner laboratories, with a waiting period of approximately three weeks. The cost will vary depending on the weight and nature of the stone.
